Boss Katana Artist Worth It
The speaker and cab on the artist sounded so much better to me.
Boss katana artist worth it. The new katana artist mkii takes the latest developments from the katana mkii incorporates them into the premium artist range. This katana artist takes delay od and drive pedals great. Other than that the artist gives you cabinet resonance and line out air feel functions. The 2x12 100 watt katana is priced at 500.
If you really enjoy the katana artist there s nothing wrong with buying that. So right now the katana is priced at 600. In that regard the boss katana artist does a great job and compares very favorably to amps that cost 2 or 3 times as much. Hey thinking of upgrading to a katana 100 been using a vst for the past 3 years unfortunately and want to use a proper amp as i ve started a band with some mates.
Katana artist original poster 1 point 1 year ago i went with the artist because the 100 sounded really thin with my 7 and 8 string guitars. My money is on the shape and size of the cab having more to do in the change in sound than the speaker but that s just my two cents. The artist is visually different from the other katana amps with a front facing letterbox control panel although the controls are quite similar. The cabinet uses a ply baffle joined to mdf side panels it s solid enough although this is the most expensive katana combo by quite a margin.
If you always want a clean tone or maybe a bit of light overdrive a smaller tube amp that you can push into break up could do the trick. My style is classic rock r b jazzish and contemporary praise and worship. Is it worth it. With new variations to the katana s classic tones you now also.
